Growing up in a small town in Ohio I was lucky enough to have watched my parents run a successful building company and pursue many other entrepreneurial ventures in their careers.

As successful as they were, they were always trading time for money, and allowing the economy or industry standards to dictate the income.

I admired my parents work ethic and success, so I decided very early on that I was going to become an entrepreneur myself. However, I knew I didnt want to trade my time for money or allow anybody else to deem what I was worth per hour.

In short I was a dreamer.

After high school I shocked all of my friends and told them I was moving to HOLLYWOOD to become an actor.

As you can imagine that statement was met with laughter both in front and behind my back.

However, being the independent thinker that I was I packed up my pick-up truck and headed west!

17 years later I’m a successful actor that has been fortunate enough to have been in every facet of this industry from 100 million dollar movies, national commercials, and Series Regulars on several different shows.

Currently I am on a major Daytime Network show.

Most people think that over night success is just that….NOT TRUE!

In this world an over night success is 10 YEARS!

I’m not going to bore you with the specific’s of my journey, but I held odd jobs early in my career.

I did everything from cleaning carpets to waiting tables, so I understand the meaning of hard work for mediocre pay.

I’m very glad to have had those experiences in my life because they taught me a lot about work ethic and gave me an understanding of the business system.

The biggest lesson I learned was that I didn’t want to work for somebody else, having to wait for them to decide my worth.

I wanted to be my own boss!

How I Got Here

Let’s go back a few years to July 14 2007, my good friend called me and said he had an MLM opportunity for me.

Like any good friend would do, I gave him my credit card.

I still laugh at that because I had no idea at the time what “opportunity” meant, I just knew I had to invest a little bit amount of money for my boy right?

Well not only did it end up being a great “opportnity”, IT WAS THE OPPORTUNITY THAT CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER!

Never being a part of any MLM or Networking opportunity I began to research what that really meant.

One thing that really caught my eye was the concept of Residual Income.

As an actor, I knew the power of having several national commercials running at once, which meant that I was getting paid no matter where I was or what I was doing, I was hooked!

The difference was that if I didnt book a commerical I wasnt going to get paid, but in the MLM business you build it once the right way and you get paid continuously for years to come!

I jumped right into action - I believe they call it “Ignorance On Fire” !

I was sharing what I believed was the greatest product & opportunity I’d ever SEEN.

It was AWESOME learning on the fly and being mentored by some Amazing Leaders. I was able to become one of the top 100 people paid in my primary opportunity and in the top 250 people paid in the WORLD in the MLM industry.

To say the least this changed me and my families life, and the greatest part of it all was the fact that I got to HELP change so many other peoples lives and future.

Simply put, it was the most amazing feeling I had ever felt and like acting was so many years before, I knew this was it for ME!

Let me explain the differences of my current career & the one I was going to embark on.

9. Had to book out for vacations and then pay for them…LOL

New Chosen Career (Network Marketing)

1. Time Freedom

2. Financial Freedom

3. Work with People you choose

4. Unlimited growth potential

5. Strength in the Global Economy

6. FREE Vacations

7. Work when I choose

8. Low start up, low risk

9. Being your own Boss

10. Leveraging the power of the Internet

11. These are just a few but you get my point.

Since my involvement in Network Marketing I have used a secret to grow my business exponentially!

It’s something you use everyday, the INTERNET!

In the beginning I was using the “HORSE & BUGGY” way of building a business, although it CAN be effective when applied with a proven system and sheer determination to succeed at any cost, but I was again trading time for money.

There Had To Be A Better Way

Fast forward a few years and many many lessons later. I was fortunate to have met some very unique people along the way that became great friends. Very diverse backgrounds, but all pursuing the same goals that most of us have that get in this industry: Time Freedom and Passive Residual Income.

But most importantly, we all realized that the traditional way of building a networking business was for the most part DEAD!

So What Did We Do?

I think this blog pretty much tells the story. We rolled up our sleeves, went into research mode, and found out how the “new” leaders in networking business were Getting it done.

What happened?

We started seeing immediate success. Our team started re-engaging in the business, and through the power of the internet we no longer had to trade time for money leading our team. On top of this, we immediately started generating leads, leads that were contacting us for information instead of us chasing people down to talk about our business.

What Can You Do?

Make a decision to be successful. The tools are there for you, but unless you decide you want to be successful, it will NEVER happen. Start expanding your mind by reading and watching the right content.
